Meet Coach Martin

My name is Owen Martin. I am an NSCA-certified personal trainer who lives in the Lake Geneva, WI area. Also, I am an undergrad student at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse pursuing a degree in Exercise Sports Science with plans on going to school for physical therapy in the future.

 

Since I was little I played every sport I could get my hands on and had to find my own ways to get better. When I started to take my nutrition habits, training, and education seriously was when I saw big improvements.

Early on in my training career, I was exposed to progressive concepts and principles that help me achieve success with my clients. My eyes were opened up to an entirely new way of addressing the human body, and I plan to carry and build on that knowledge throughout my career.

I want to share the knowledge I've learned with all of you so that you can get to your goals with greater ease. I look forward to working with you!

My Mission

It is ultimately my goal to equip you with the tools you need to succeed on your own. I strive to create purposeful, results-driven programs for my clients, in which they understand each and every aspect of their training. I firmly believe that every element of a program should be understood and appreciated by the individual in order to maximize buy-in to my programs.

My approach is multi-faceted as both a coach and a teacher. I want my clients to understand why their limitations exist and how they can address them. I believe that being in tune with your own body is an invaluable tool, one that is commonly under-appreciated in personal training. Together, we will address these biomechanical inefficiencies, you will learn to self-assess and understand your body, and we will intelligently build towards achieving success in a way that empowers you in both the gym and life.
